New year – new me

I’ve been so motivated these last few days to be a better me. I want to go above and beyond in life, I want to prove to everyone that I can do it. My dreams are so big that they even scare me, they bring so much doubt and it always gets me thinking if I can really do it. (What if I fail, or am not good enough for the job I want).

The fear of failure is real and it is what stops us from living our lives to the absolute fullest. With the new year off to a good start, I plan to leave all those fears and doubts in 2016 and not spend too much time worrying about things I can’t control. God is with me 24/7 and He is there to support and guide me.He has has never failed me and there is always a reason for everything that happens in life. He is and will always be with me. ❤

I’ve been scrolling through Instagram, my reader feed, but nothing hit so close to home as when I opened Pinterest and the first recommended post read the following;

Her Time

“She has been feeling it for awhile now– that sense of awakening. There is a gentle rage simmering inside her, and it is getting stronger by the day. She will hold it close to her — she will nurture it and let it grow. She won’t let anyone take it away from her. It is her rocket fuel and finally, she is going places. She can feel it down to her very core — this is her time. She will not only climb mountains — she will move them too.”

Reading that just put such a huge smile on my face and is soon motivating, especially the last part.. “she will not only climb mountains — she will move them too.” HECK YA I WILL!!  It makes me want to work even harder for the things that I want to accomplish in life (with God’s help of course).

My 2017 new year resolutions :

  1. Start everyday with prayer and reading of daily devotional.
  2. Workout 4-5 days a week (has been going great so far)
  3. Focus on school — get that marketing bachelors degree (almost half way there).
  4. BLOG BLOG BLOG (be the best fashion blogger you can be).
  5. Remember to ALWAYS be yourself.

  1. Aw girl you can do it! I like the idea of leaving all your fears in 2016, great way to achieve what you want without the thought of fear holding you back! And 100% God is always with you, he will help you get to where you need to be 🙂
